Maneuver easily without pulling and moving a cord with the Black & Decker(R) 7.2-Volt Cordless Hand Vacuum. Its 360deg charging base has a built-in LED indicator, and rather than messy, cumbersome bags the vacuum uses an easy-to-empty bowl for dirt storage. YouTube Video

Suction too weak We purchased this vacuum mainly to use for cleaning dirt/stones etc from mats/carpets in our vehicle but it’s power is too weak to be useful for it’s intended purpose . Therefore we returned it.

Must cycle battery few times for full power Previously, I posted a fairly negative review due to the poor performance of the battery. I later discovered that once the battery had been through couple of deep cycles (fully drained then fully recharged), the performance improved significantly (up to a full minute of continuous vacuum). **note that device like this isn’t meant for continuous use like the household vacuum cleaners, so don’t expect to use it to clean the inside of your cars.

I expected this to last more than 5 months. Original post: It works ok for picking up dog hair, crumbs, etc. My only complaint is the exhaust is on the underside of the unit, so it blows the dust and hair around instead of sucking it up when vacuuming a large surface.Update: February 28, 2016. I leave it in the charging station all the time as the directions indicate to do, but for the last month or so the battery no longer holds a charge. It barely has any suction power when I turn it on, then dies within 10-15 seconds. Black and Decker should be ashamed of producing such a bad product.
