Car Audio Newbie? Look here. If you’re anything like me, then you have no idea what you’re doing when it comes to car audio. So I thought I’d leave a few tips along with my review to save you some research time. (Bottom paragraph is the review portion)

Works good, won’t break your bank account. (unless you’re really poor) For the price, you will be hard pressed to do better.I bought this for my 23 year old work truck. I also purchased a Ford wiring harness to make things easier. Last night I spent about an hour shrink wrapping each wire and securing it neatly. Today I installed this stereo in my truck. The install took (no exaggeration) about five minutes. The radio works perfectly, and seems to pick up stations as well on the FM band as my old radio, although I think I got a little better reception on most stations on the AM band.Using a USB drive to play music. Works great, although I must confess I haven’t been able to figure out how to skip folders, which makes cycling through music a bit tedious since I have a mix of books on tape, language training, and music. For a dirt cheap upgrade, I have no complaints. sounds at least as good as my old factory radio.

Great buy, works great and I no longer need a bluetooth adapter! My car radio broke down and I needed to get something new ASAP. I was on a budget so this seemed like the best way to go, and I’m sure I wouldn’t have found anything better for this price. I am happy with this purchase, it’s not the best radio out there, but it’s certainly worth it.Upon opening the box, I noticed the volume knob had broken and I had to stick it back with superglue, since there was just no way of getting one exactly like it and I wasn’t going to place a warranty claim on Amazon for that. So far, it’s been working great. My only dislike is that there aren’t many option to customize sound. You get bass and treble, but that’s it. My previous radio was a very cheap one and I was still able to customize a bunch of other stuff. But overall, this is perfect and I would recommend it to anyone.
